The Anglo-Saxons were people who came from parts of modern-day Germany, Denmark, and the Netherlands to settle in Britain after the Romans left. They lived in small villages, built wooden houses, and had their own kings and kingdoms like Wessex and Mercia.

The Anglo-Saxons brought their language, beliefs, and customs, which helped shape early England. They believed in many gods before Christianity spread. This quiz will test what you’ve learned about their daily life, religion, kings and how they changed Britain in ways that still are evident today. Get ready to travel back in time and see how much you remember!
