This introductory session starts with firing pupils’ curiosity via a slow reveal in which pupils build a picture of her by means of a series of clues introduced in a structured way. Pupils then complete a jigsaw information run in which they find answers to specific broader questions about the reasons for her fame before consolidating this by actively viewing a short video excerpt.
